Fusion Woodwork recently shipped these architectural screens to the Westin Hotel in Times Square, NY. There are 33 screens - no two alike - which were stacked 12' high surrounding the atrium and lit from below with high intensity LED's. They are the Alien Web design by Fusion Woodwork, finished with lacquer on Italian veneer by Kinetic Design Products. Renovation design by Jeffrey Beers International for Tishman hotels, NY.

Walnut Coffee Bar

This a coffee bar we completed recently; the top is a 4" solid walnut slab from Swift Sure manufacturing, the design is by bricault.ca for Thomas Haas chocolates on West Broadway, Vancouver. To see a video of this being machined check this link:

Someone told me I need to update the blog more than once every 2 years. Crazy talk, I said - I didn't sign up for this! Anyway, I'll give them the benefit of the doubt this time and show you some of the things we've been up to.

the interior features removable laminate wall panels for wiring access, louvered birch light diffusers, and laminate podium and cart which tuck into wall cavities. There are also projector mounts built into the ceiling louvers for easy re configuration of various exhibits.

New CNC on the way

We have a new 5 x 10 high speed CNC router arriving in a few weeks... The accuracy, rigidity, speed and flexibility are far beyond our present capabilities so very much looking forward to "getting behind the wheel". One of the first projects will be a line of architectural screens we've been working on. The designs are there and some samples have been machined but the best is yet to come.. Stay tuned!
